French Related Flags
The French national flag, or tricolour, was adopted during the French Revolution in 1794. Features three vertical stripes of blue, white, and red.
Additionally, French regions, known as departments, have their own flags. Examples include the flag of Brittany, which features black and white stripes and the ermine symbol. Auvergne, which features a red and yellow cross on a blue field. Other regions, such as Corsica and Provence, also have their own flags.
Finally, there are French territorial flags, such as the flag of New Caledonia. Features a green and blue background with a yellow sun. Flag of French Polynesia, which features a red and white chevron and symbols of the region’s traditional culture.
